Over the past few years, Praxis has designed and developed millions
of dollars in Web Portals and Web Communications Infrastructure,

Online Training
Praxis is a leading developer of online and network-based training
systems and content. Over the past five years, we have produced
several hundred custom CBT courses on subjects as diverse as paraxylene
production on one hand, and medical ECG test procedures on the
other.
Training and Procedures Manuals
Praxis has produced more than eight hundred manuals for the pulp
and paper, petroleum, petrochemical
and metallurgical industries.
Document Management Systems
Praxis has designed and produced a wide variety of network-based
and web-based document management systems to simplify document
management and control, and to reduce the costs and increase the
flexibility of ISO 2000 and ISO 14000 compliance requirements.
Dynamic Pattern Recognition and Simulation Systems
Praxis researchers have developed computer systems for the recognition
of dynamic patterns in real time, which can recognize individual
whales by their whale calls, and can recognize individual people
by their electroencephalograph output. These techniques can also
be used in reverse to build highly accurate dynamic process simulations
from collected data.

Many of Praxis' clients are in a continuous state of material

and on Neural Network Technology to Hughes Aircraft. Praxis has

Vision
Fifteen
years ago, Praxis was one of the earliest
developers of Computer-based Training Technology
and PC-based Process Simulations. Today we
continue to be a research and development
leader. We have our own research laboratories,
and have close ties with British Columbia
Universities.
Recent
developments include simulation-based aptitude
tests, and computer-based multi-tasking tests
of attention. Currently we are developing a
system of real-time learning analysis based
on Bayesian Statistics, so that we can spend
more time teaching you what you don't know and
less time teaching you what you know. We are
also developing a Computer-based Learning System
that manages the learner's mental state to maintain
optimum learning performance. We call this technology
"DeepLearning™." Predictive modeling
of security and safety is also a field in which
we have a deep interest.
